Description: EVACIP Eye/Ear drops is a clear, slightly yellowish, sterile, ophthalmic/otic solution of Ciprofloxacin supply in single dose container. It belongs to groups of medicines called Antibiotics.

How EVACIP works?

As a fluoroquinolone antibacterial agent, the bactericidal action of ciprofloxacin results from the inhibition of both type II topoisomerase (DNA-gyrase) and topoisomerase IV, required for bacterial DNA replication, transcription, repair and recombination.

Therapeutic Indication:

EVACIP is indicated for the treatment of corneal ulcers and superficial infections of the eye caused by strains susceptible to Ciprofloxacin. It is also used to treat acute infections of the outer ear (otitis externa or “swimmer’s ear”). 

Dosage and administration:

• Eye(s): 1 – 2 drops, 3 – 4 times daily in the affected eye(s) or as directed by the physician.
• Ear(s): 3-4 drops, 2-4 times daily or as directed by the physician.
